Stupid things people do

I asked not long ago a question about drunken stupidness, I am intrigued to know of the most stupid things people have done when sober, as at least with drunkeness you have something of an excuse, thanks.

I am struggling to decide which of the hundreds of stupid things I have done is the most stupid, but also finding it difficult to remember if I was drunk or sober at the time.  Sorry, failed your survey, i shall regroup and think again.

My friend was lounging on the settee when her mam came home from shopping and knocked on the window indicating that she was locked out. My friend went via the hall into the kitchen to get the door key and went back into the lounge reached up high to the open window & passed the key to her mother!! Her mother jumped up to catch the key!! it dawned on them only today.
