Just caught up with this new BBC series and really enjoyed the first episode. I do like Lee Ingleby espacially when he was Goerge Gently's sidekick and even when he was a very nasty vampire in the latter espiodes of Being Human, not to mention Stan Shunpike the spotty bus conductor in the Harry Potter films. Anne Reid is brilliant as usual. Can't wait for the next expisode. Well done BBC (and that's not said too often!)
