'Mighty Quinn (Quinn the Eskimo)'
I liked the song, in the day but have always been puzzled by the lyrics.
Anyone know what they really mean ?

I always thought it was a reference to a mind-bending drug.
Dylan claims it is nothing more than a simple nursery rhyme, according to Wiki
.....but I'm happy to be proved wrong. :-)
But I don't believe him :)
Neither do I, hc. :-)
Perfect day by Lou Reed and There She Goes by the La's are both about taking heroin.
I always figured the title came from The Savage Innocents, but that doesn't explain anything. Maybe it's deliberately meaningless

But what it actually seems to be about is some hero coming along and making everyone's lives less stressful. That could mean God, could mean drugs, whatever you want it to be I suppose.
"Perfect day by Lou Reed and There She Goes by the La's are both about taking heroin"
How very depressing
I'm pretty sure chemicals were involved.

I tend to agree ZM.
I feel pretty sure that 'Mr Tambourine Man' was about a drug dealer too, but in the day it just seemed like a kind of fantasy dream.
Everything was a dream in those days, Chip!
