i've been out of work for a few years now looking after my children and i'm desperate to rejoin the work force. my problem is my mind seems to go blank when filling out applications. the current application ( working with diasabled people) person specification: your ability and willingness to respond to people's practical and emotional needs andunderstanig of the effects of discrimination and your commitment to equal opportunities.

whats the actual question you need answering??

Firstly you need to be able to show that you have the qualities needed for the job. Underline the important words such as responding to peoples needs - practical and emotional. Then you can consider what experience you have and qualifications that will show you have those qualities.


Big issue for many years has been equal rights for disabled people, making sure thay can access services such as practical measures, building ramps, lifts for wheel chairs.
