Has anyone ever been to Lickey End?

Has anyone ever been to Lickey End?I saw it in the AA book of the road the other day and it really sounded a nice place to visit.

Lickey End is about 8 miles from me ,on the soft underbelly of Birmingham.

There is a picnic site in the area ,with lovely views across the West Midlands.

For real rude place name fans "Bell End" near Netherton,Dudley,is not that far away!

sad though it may sound, i only live some 6 miles from lickey end, which it part of the town of Bromsgrove, ( get ur maps out peeps ). I can only say that there is absolutely nothing there apart from the Lickey Hills ( great views of brum and the M5 motorway) and a golf course. Not even any decent pubs to make your journey worthwhile....

I've been through Lickey End without stopping, erm, if you see what I mean.

I ended up in Kidderminster which, on reflection, probably serves me right.
