Awwwww bless. Poor old Barry. The chuckle brothers appealed to my inner child and I found them funny on an escapist level.

Ohhhhhh, every time we move house we do 'To me, to you'. I'm sad about that.
They always gave me the creeps but RIP to a man who brought a smile to many a face

I've heard of them - vaguely - but I've never seen them.
Sorry to hear that - he gave laughter to many people. RIP Barry
What little I did see of them always put me in mind of Wilson and Kepple (without Betty)!
Absolute legend was Barry Chuckle. Together the brothers, Barry and Paul were comedy gold. They entertained a generation on children on TV, in panto and in summer seasons across the UK. Official too old to watch, they were guilty pleasure for me!
Friend posted this on another site and it made me "chuckle".

Barry chuckle has died and while it is sad I cant help thinking about how the undertakers will move the coffin - to you to me -
They certainly lived up to their name; I have many happy memories of watching them with my son.
Silly, inoffensive, inventive and they never failed to deliver.

Paul will be heartbroken. My condolences to him and all the family.
JTH - that wasn't their real name.
Wow......Twitter from the 'great beyond'.....???!?

///Children's author Terry Pratchett wrote: 'He and Paul took daft to a blessedly new level. RIP Barry Chuckle. To you @PaulChuckle2.'///
I meant 'Chuckle' ....... not 'Elliot'....
Very sad, but will always be remembered with a smile.

RIP Barry x
Sad news, RIP Barry.
Aww no! So sad to hear this. Kids will be heartbroken and a few grown ups....RIP Barry. Thank you for the laughs.
RIP Barry.
one of stoke's radio DJs was due to do a panto season with the chuckle brothers and before his first rehearsal he told the audience that it was likely to be completely crazy and although they'd have a laugh, they'd get nothing done. the following day humble pie was eaten as the DJ explained the level of professionalism he'd seen exhibited by the brothers. will be missed.
