andy hughes: Aw Geordie, not so much sexy as it reminds me of my maternal grandfather who was a miner in Easington Colliery in County Durham. My mother had married a southerner and 'bettered herself' her words not mine. Grandad used to come visit , a big gentle giant who would call me 'bonny lass' tell me stories about the pit ponies and always have a jar of sweets he called 'black bullets'.

I am really enjoying the reruns of Auf Wiedersehn Pet because I love how the Geordies talk, especially Jimmy Nail, I could listen to him all day.

As far as 'sexy Geordie' goes, when I hear Cheryl Cole speak I get a loud rushing noise in my ears, and then everything goes black ...
