Fifteen To One Final-Is Prize Money Fair
12 Answers
Barbara Thompson a serial quizzer did not get one question wrong in the Grand Final yet won nothing. Surely the three who make the final should all get prize money. As there were 40 X one hour programmes that is a very poor amount for prize money even Eggheads pays £1000 for an a half hour prog. and Pointless the same for a 45 min show. Probably the hardest quiz to win with the poorest of prize money

Anyone applying to take part in 15 to 1 knows that it is a quick-fire quiz where the questions are slightly more stiff than many other TV quiz shows and there are no cheesey gimmicks to hide behind......and that there is no prize money to be won; just the glory of being the last contestant standing.

Not in the grand final, where all questions are on the buzzer - there is no nominating.
"and that there is no prize money to be won; just the glory of being the last contestant standing"
Apart from the fact that the last contestant standing in the grand final goes home with £40,000.

When I did Fifteen-to-One, the prize for the Grand Final I was in was a piece of either Greek or Roman pottery - it was more to do with the kudos of winning. I didn't see this programme (cannot STAND Sandi Toksvig), but I assume Barbara Thompson wasn't quick enough on the buzzer? If so, been there, done that!
