Padlock?

Why does a padlock keep appearing on my iPad screen. It goes away after a few seconds but keeps reappearing. What can I do to stop this please?

It's the Rotation lock, you can amend it in settings..

Unsure. Does it show whips and chains too ?

Thank you Mamya, I've just looked in settings. There is a tick against the lock rotation. I have tried to remove it but nothing happens.

It may depend on which model, try swiping up from centre bottom to the Control Centre, think you can change it there.
