.............Christian Eriksen? The headline in one Sunday paper said "Praying for you Christian". Well, I wasn't. I don't mean that in a bad way. I was hoping for a speedy recovery. Wishing him well. But praying? The writer might have been praying but it was an over-emotional headline, I thought. Glad he seems to be recovering well now. Shame that he is unlikely to play again. The media shouldn't assume that everyone is praying, though.
I agree entirely. I wish Cristian Eriksen the speediest of recoveries (I'm a Tottenham fan, so I've cheered him on many times), but I wouldn't pray for anybody, as I believe it is utterly pointless.
It doesn't matter how it was worded. It was a gesture that sent the right message - that people care. What a frustratingly picky world we live in with everyone expected to tread on eggshells. Please one, you upset someone else. It's all so silly.
He had a cardiac arrest.....it happens.
It was a bid deal.....for HIM....but not for me.
No, I didn't pray for him, I haven't prayed for anyone mainly because I am an atheist.
I have said many times that I cannot understand AB emotions, they being unselective and repetitive which makes me question the sincerity.
