Honours Of Scotland

St Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh on July 5th. Anybody from AB turning up to see King Charles III receive Scotland's crown jewels (the oldest in the UK) and the new Elizabeth Sword? :)

Honours of Scotland. No honour in being disrespectfu l and rude to an English monarch. Nothing more I would now enjoy to see Scotland kicked in the long grass and the Royal family disassociate themselves from Scotland and let them fend for themselves. Just reading the anti-English feeling on this site would make me happy to see them try to fend for themselves...

old - but not that old 1540 - used for Mary Queen of scots
NOT a good sign
I thought they were secreted in Dunottar parish church during the republican period, but the wiki article is a bit stickly over that one

Tilly, I wasn't thinking of a representative :) More along the lines of those who haven't yet seen our new monarch in the flesh. Just imagined folk on holiday in Scotland who might be able to get to Edinburgh to see the King and Queen for the first time, some different sight-seeing for the children.
