Wrapping Presents - Love It Or Hate It?
I love buying presents but I hate wrapping them - and I feel like I've been doing it for days! Waiting for the last three to be delivered today and once wrapped that will be my lot for another year! Thank goodness for that!

Used to buy all my grandkids books for Christmas and didn't mind the 'wrapping' duties.
Nowadays, they all get a card with cash in - save for the youngest (4 year old), who gets whatever he is 'into'. This year it's the 'Spidey Team' so i'll shortly be wrapping 2 plastic figures from the team - movable arms and heads, etc. Last year it was dinosaurs. Can't wait until he's old enough for a card and cash - so much simpler😊
I love it, and I'm very good at it.
We have a big family, and with friends, Mrs H buys for over forty people, and family all get two or three things each, so there is a seriously large number to do.
Two tips to make life much easier -
Invest in a tape dispenser, it's a lot easier than breaking off wrapping to find the end of the tape and snap it with your teeth.
The other tip is - wrap on an ironing board, it gives you plenty of room to roll paper out, and saves the agony of backache.
Hope that helps.
I'm ambivalent on this. I tend to put it off, but then when I start I want to do it well and really enjoy seeing the pile of wrapped presents mounting at the other end of the table. All those to be posted are either on their way or have arrived. Handed over a bag-ful to one daughter last night and others are sittingon the spare bed awaiting the arrival of their recipients.
So, I put it off, dread it and then find a satisfaction in having done it.
