Someone wants to buy something off me on  marketplace and for me to send it to them. I said they'd have to pay upfront including the postage. I'm not sure how to do this. They suggested PayPal or bank transfer. Not sure what to do. Any advice ? It's not a big amount only £7.50

They should pay for the item and the postage upfront.  I'd use PayPal.

Thanks

DON'T put your bank details on facebook.

I've had lots of scammers demanding to pay by bank transfer for all sorts of strange reasons and as soon as they realise I won't part with my bank account the dissapear

Your account number and sort code only allows others to pay money in to your account.  They are printed on every cheque along with your name and of course your signature.

Hundreds of people have paid my by bank transfer without problems
