What Happened, Still Spending

What happened to the economic disaster that most have been praying for since labour got it in? Did it only happen for 48hours in peoples minds.

My town centre today is rammed, car parks chocker, shops full to bursting, coffee shops ( all full to the brim)eating venues, large ones at that, full.

Even M&S full and everone spending not window shopping. Can't see any shortage of money or  worries there will be.

Has it passed you by that Christmas is approaching and most people have to spread their shopping over weeks?

My town centre certainly isn't rammed, and neither is the huge shopping mall.  Pubs and restaurants closing. Businesses failing. Shops permanently closed.

Spread their shopping over weeks jesus, its going to be like this for weeks then.

Pubs have been closing for the last 10/15 years, nothing to do with labour.

Robber Reeves changes will take while to feed through me old china. Inflation + interest rates unemployment, will start to rise when they do. If you seriously think Labour are not going to wreck the economy then you are kidding yourself.

Will have to visit Aldi in the morning, could get through the door, they were chocker block also.
