No. Another 25 years and these young men will be marrying and producing more. Be afraid. Probably in about 30 years the adults (or those of voting age) will be in the majority. I fear for my granddaughters.
I have warned and warned for so many years. No-one - apart from those who knew and were also waved away as extremists - listened. All pointed to the nice, acceptable Muslims. Yes, they exist - but they are a cover for dark Islam.
These days the church is too meek and mild (and denigrated, I agree, justly) to head a fight back.
I could play 'Onward Christian Soldiers' I suppose - to the disapproval of the vicar, churchwardens et al.
The trouble with posting an article over 10 years old is that it's likely to feature things like -
...But for men called Mo, it will take more than insults to make them give up their name. Mohamed Al Fayed tells me: “The Fulham football fans used to call me Mo. I liked that. Serious effort went into making up songs about me. But the big hit at Craven Cottage went: ‘Al Fayed, oh, ho, ho, ho … he wants to be a Brit, and QPR are …’ Well, you write your own lines. These days, the best sound I ever hear is when my grandchildren burst into the room, calling out for “Mo-mo”. So, I am Mo-mo to them, and Mohamed to the world, and delighted to be so.”
(I wonder what the Fulham fans are singing these days?)
This is not about the name it's about the growing muslim population. When they get enough they'll form a party and win an election and then abolish opposition, all legally using our own system. Then they'll introduce sharia and before you know it our daughters will be getting stoned for being raped. Nip it in the bud now.
