Oh, and I have a sister who insists tea has to be stirred clockwise. Not just hers, she has a go at you if you do it 'wrong'... weird, or what?
I nibble all the chocolate off my Maltesers and save the remaining little ball of the centre and put it back in my packet until I have done this to all of them , then I eat them all. I just love the malty taste of the centre and try to separate the chocolate from it. I don't obviously do this if I am sharing a box/bag with others(I keep them in my own little pile if this is the case) so it's not normally a problem of others getting my half chewed Malteser .... except for the time my hubby pinched one from my bag. He only ever did that once without asking and thinks that I am quite bizarre for doing his. Why oh why don't they just make malty balls !
I have always been able to read words backwards immediately. If someone asks me how a word is spelled backwards , I can tell them in a split second without hesitation , the pronunciation of the word backwards and the spelling. If I know the lyrics of a song I can sing it backwards without really thinking about it. I can actually see the words in my head. (I'm just reading that again and I realise how odd that must make me sound !!!) I thought that everyone could do this until a friend looked at me like I was mad and others I have spoken to can't seem to do this either. I can have entire backwards conversations with people if I want to and I once wound up my friend's gullible new boyfriend that I could speak fluent Swahili. I had him convinced that I was bilingual until I tripped up and used his name backwards in conversation. As most people know what their name is backwards , he quickly twigged !
I still eat certain fods in a certain order. My mother-in-law gives us fish on Friday when we go for tea - I get fish fingers, an she always does cauliflower, peas an chips. I eat the cauliflower first on its own, then everything esle together. I hate eating chocolate without a cup of tea to go with it.
