With religion being the pet subject of the week, It got me thinking, Imagine if their was no Religion, What would be the Biggest issue now, Maybe the colour of our skin ? 3rd world countrys ? Money {the route of all evil so they say} Oil, Land, etc etc.

Or would the world just be a better place FULL STOP, What if their was just one goverment, who decide's if the world leader is Black, white, asian etc, would it come down to the colour of your skin.

If there was no religion, hard to imagine, because people are naturally superstitious, we'd be no better off, because we'd find other things to argue and fight over, as indeed we have since humans have been around.

I remember an episode of Star Trek where the 2 warring factions were 50% black and 50% white, divided vertically through the body. The war was over the question of which side was the superior, those who were white on the left side or the right side.
It seems as if anything goes in the search for an fight.

When you depose religion, be prepared to deal with the consequences: remember Iraq! The scourge of religion must be dealt with one individual at a time by demonstrating a better way to live. You can not lead a mind to reason without first giving it a thirst for knowledge. Unfortunately religious or otherwise most people simply have not learned how to live as people. This is largely due to an abundance of students coupled with a lack of good teachers. In the mean time our best option is to minimize the harm done to humanity by the interjection of religion into governmental affairs. Guns and faith do not mix in a complimentary fashion.

If you cannot provide a better alternative all bets are off!
