I think I'll be a bit nervous to use a ouija board!! On several occasions, during the night, I have been downstairs and seen an 'arm' going from the living room into the hall. Also, my mum was washing up, and a stool under the worktop shot about 3ft across the room. On another occasion, my mum and I were in the dining room at 1am, and we heard a click. It turned out that the living room lights had been switched on. A while later, we heard what sounded like a dog walking across the kitchen linoleum. We don't own a dog, and our two cats were out. When I was younger, my great-grandad died, and a few months later, we were in the living room and I saw the chair that he used to sit in crease slightly, as though he was sitting there. We felt he was in the room. I didn't think much of it then, because I didn't really understand. We all have a feeling that one of the 'spirits' is a young male.

My brother in law and his wife live in a new house on a new estate. My sister in law started hearing noises and did'nt like being in the house by herself ,my brother in law did'nt believe her but one day he was on the toilet of all places and someone banged on the door ,he asked what his wife wanted ,no answer more banging,he asked again, still no answer ,loosing his temper he went to the door and discovered there was no one there his wife had been in the kitchen and had'nt heard anything. After talking to the neighbours they discovered that several people had experienced similar occurences and one woman refused to stay in the house alone if her husband worked nights. The only reason people could think of as a cause was that the estate was on the site of an old mine where children would have worked and may have been killed in an accident
I'm sure mine is and i don't like it, or even like to talk about "it". My daughter, as a small child, used to often see "the lady" and was always quite pleased to, but hasn't now for many years. We tried a sceance one night while my daughter was away, but it was fruitless. I might try it again now that she's an adult. My sister-in-law could feel it when she lived here but my brother and husband remain skeptics.
