'Buen chico' is Spanish and literally means 'good boy' but it can be used, colloquially, to mean something close to the English 'fine fellow'. Many years ago, I used to have a Spanish drinking partner. Although he spoke better English than I do, after a few drinks he would often slap me on the back and proclaim "Tu eres un buen chico". 'Buenchico' became my nickname in the pub and I still use it to this day.

Noxlumos is what my little 8 year old daughter thought "no light" or "light of the night" ie darkness meant in latin, because I suffer from migraines and sometimes the kids come into a darkened room and go to turn the light on and I'll shout "no light". Although it's not a true latin translation I quite liked it :)
