sorry l couldnt find my question ;when l tried to look for the answer! so l hope lm not doing it again! guess l deleted it.

my mother came over on a ship in 1956? l was born in 57. from south africa as an immigrant and liveed here eversince. l was hoping to trace her back to southafrica and her relatives. were would the papers be held for her coming over on the ship please?
