What has happened to Terry Wogans Producer Paul Walters

I'd been wondering that for weeks but then a couple of weeks ago Terry said something about him being "a bit under the weather" but that he would be back at some point and that he was still selecting all the music for the show. He must be ill and to have been off this long it must be something fairly serious so hopeully he's on the mend.
