Father Christmas at Harrods.

Has anyone ever been to see Santa at Harrods? I've always wondered what its like as the prices are high to see him and the queues always seem to be frightfully long. Is he a particuarly good santa? Is there an amazing grotto/gift? Thanks xx

Thats it. if you want a pic of you and santa then you'll probs pay about 12 quid for it...
We took our 2-year-old son last week. It was 9.95, for which you got a badge each, a book for the child (not gift-wrapped) and a photo of you taken with Santa. We joined the queue near a sign saying '3 hours from this point' but it actually took us 1 hour 15 minutes. There were free bottles of water, biscuits and sweets for those queueing.
We thought it was worth it - the photo is an excellent one, and it is a proper grotto and not Santa just sitting in a sort of hut.
