Hi. I was wondering which other places in Leeds were nice to live as a family. I know Horsforth, Roundhay but anyone know anywhere else?

Lancashire is nicer
Adel, guiseley, bramhope, shadwell, lawnswood, headingly, calverly, west park, otley (if you dont mind a 10 mile drive) morley, rothwell, garforth. It depends upon the size of your budget.

Guiseley is nice and 's not far 'tall ba train t' city centre. 's a grand Morrisons 'n all.

Ilkley's also rather jolly.

I agree with Artemis, but you could try Headingley. Nice houses.
I am reminded of a saying of Mike Hardings - I think Yorkshire is full of Hills and Moors Lancashire is full of Mills and ******

Thanks everyone for your answers, I orginally come from Lanc's so know how great it is but like Yorkshire too and that is were we both work. I was looking for a family kind of area if this makes any difference. thanks

I personally wouldn't recommend Headingley as a place to live with a family as it is FULL of students (I am 1 and live there) but far headingley is nice. Ilkley is lovely and so is Otley x
