Any suggestions where to stay overnight when we go to Alton Towers - 2 adults and 3 kids.


Thanks - cheap but not gross would be good!!

We used to stay here when it was called the Wild Duck Inn, not sure what it is like these days but for us it was cheap and cheerful and had a cosy bar for apres thrills!

Not sure what it is like for children though we were all adults (by age at least).

Have you tried a Travelodge - they often have saver rooms for �26 or even �10 if you book online.
