my nextdoor neighbours have 5 grandchildren ages from 9yrs to 2yrs, that look after them from fri morn to mon morn and every day in school hols, the thing is the kids are chucked out the garden at 8.30am till gets dark, they are really loud boisterus kids, we cant sit out in our garden because of the din or invite people over! dont want to fall out with my neighbours but may get a prob with them and if we do i may end up over reacting! any ideas on best way to handle this?

Well the thing is that kids will be kids and I daresay you were the same at that age being boisterous as most of us were. You might have a quiet word with your neighbours and explain your concerns, but I'd imagine that they'll see it that you are trying to spoil their garden for them , just as you think they are spoiling your garden for you. It's really very hard, but I'd go softly softly if I were you as I think a big eruption about it will only have consequences contrary to those you'd wish.
A quick call to Social Services should sort the problem.
I have the same problem mousey9t. the brats I have to tolerate LIVE there. Their language is disgusting & they`re only 10,7 & 5. I`ve told the off about that, but it only stopped for a lttle while. I can`t even sit in my living room to relax. The weekends/school hols are the worse.
