Thanks for the 'compliment', Gef, though I have to confess that I'd originally heard it from an interview with the 'Rumpole of the Bailey' author, John Mortimer. For Alison's benefit, it refers to the fact that - amongst other things - it involves making the act last for a long time without its necessarily ending in the usual manner.
