I was brought up in Gravesend (Northfleet to be precise) until the age of twelve and spent the next twelve years here on Sheppey

Asciwhite - oh yes the Rare Breeds Centre! Many a happy birthday party spent there in my more youthful years...(although since I discovered Howletts it lost it's appeal!) And after our meet up we could descend upon M20 for more fun (second thought - maybe not!)

chimney - turns out I have been to the Isle of Sheppey and many a time at that! (I used to swim at Sheerness, only just realised Sheerness was on Sheppey!) Don't remember it much, only that I used to HATE the bridge linking it to the mainland (I was very young at the time!)
