If you were told that an act of nature was going to destroy your home in ten minutes time, apart from family and pets, what 3 things would you have to save?
all my photos...they are all I have left of my time with my ex and life in Ireland.....my musical instrument collection (a bit of a cop out but I love them all)......and some of my clothes.
Thank you all for your replies - the heart-warming ones and the (I assume) tongue-in-cheek one!
I would also rescue my photograph collection, our daughters scrap book with all of her first scribbles and drawings and my charm bracelet, which I no longer wear but holds years of memories within it.
BTW sft42, one of the things my husband would save is his battered, but much loved Fender Strat, so I understand your feelings on that one!
Tell your Hubby he rocks!! I have 3 strats and a very battered tele...along with half a dozen acoustics, a bass, a bouzouki, a mandolin, a violin, a couple of bodhrans and various of ther bits and bobs.
He certainly does!!!!
BTW, I'm surprised this 'question' hasn't been pulled by AB Ed - because it's not a proper question and this site is not supposed to be a sustitute chatroom apparently, so I had better see if I can 'ask' or 'answer' something a 'little bit more clever'!
Thanks for that Einstein. I thought it would be interesting to know what would be suggested. I'm glad it was mostly sentimental things and not 'the most expensive' things.
I have been trying to think about a good answer since this was first posted. Apart from the things you mention there is nothing that I would HAVE to save. I like my watch, a certain art deco figureine, and a B/W photo of me as a child with my father(now dead). Not certain if I would have to save them though.
