Excessive wind in 8 month old twins.
4 Answers
Hi, I have twins who are waking up during night due to wind, once they have passed it they go back to sleep. But it is waking them up several times a night. They are very uncomfortable with it and do not settle into a deep sleep until they have passed it. We have tried everything but it is still affecting them. Please help.

I was advised to put drops of INFOCOL in his milk, from what i can remember it makes all the 'bubbles' that are formed in the stomach come together - therefore when 'burped' the majority of 'wind' is let out! (excuse my terminology). Are they or are you good at bringing up there wind? I was taught by my mum who is champion, you need to pat at the small of the back, working up the spine and repeat etc. The other way is to hold baby under the arms, allow the legs to hang and then gently swing the body back and forth - this i was told again stretches the stomach muscles and allows the trapped window to be realeased. Hope this helps x
