so many of my friends have broken up with their boyfriends/girlfriends after going travelling with them for a year its crazy!Im off travelling in august with my boyfirend of a year and a half and just want to know if its a good idea or if we'll be at each others throats after a few months because we're spending every minute of the day together!
well youll just have to see. What do you think happens when people move in together?. Just make sure you can both get away from each other when you can like you would if you did live together. Good Luck xx
I went on a very belated honeymoon with my husband of 5 years, 3 months later we had split
I went to new york with my next serious boyfriend, 10 days later we split.
My current partner and i went on a weeks holiday together after 3 months of seeing each other and came back pregnant, we now have a toddler and look forward to our holidays as a family.
Every relationship is different, if its gonna fail then a holiday isnt going to effect it in any way :)
I think it really depends on the strength of the relationship and making sure you have your own time and do your own thing. My Fiancee is a bit of a globe trotter. We go where his job takes us. Sometimes we are settled for a few years in a country and other times only a few months but maybe it's different as I have never been travelling - as in setting out to travel the world like my friends. I was set on living the quiet life in England so now I do that wherever I am. We don't live in each others pockets. He has his work and I do my own thing.
Do your friends seem to split up when they are done with travelling or when they're still doing it?
