Was David Kelly's death a murder or suicide?

Norman Baker the Liberal MP who quit his front bench post in order to fully investigate the death of David Kelly who said Saddam Hussain did not pose a threat. The government however believed there was a case to answer and so joined the USA in attacking Iraq. Kelly was found dead soon after with the coroner stating it was suicide.

Baker's conclusions point to a murder not suicide. In fact he strongly implicates the security services by pretending to make it look like suicide.

I think it was suicide,the poor man was turned into the government's scapegoat and he couldn't handle the pressure.

Apparently Tony Blair went pale when he heard, because he realised the problems heading his way.

IMO murder. A bit too convenient if you ask me. Like Diana.
At the very least it should be investigated more thoroughly. I wonder if it iwould be too painful for his family though. Unless they too think he was murdered and want the truth. in which case they would welcome it.

If it was suicide why was there no fingerprints on the blunt gardener's pruning knife?

The level of pain killers found in his stomach was les than a third of a normal fatal overdose.

Lack of blood at the scene, although the cause of death was recordered as death from a severed artery.

Months before Dr Kelly's death he was asked "what would happen if Iraq was invaded" he replied that he "would probably be found dead in the woods"

He was booked on a flight to Iraq the following Friday, and was looking forward to returning, would he had bothered booking an airline ticket if he had no intention of using it?

I think the British have been brainwashed into believing the secret services behave responsibly and do not have motives. It all happens in Russia, right? No, wrong!.

Norman Baker with his MI6 contacts have put their fingers on it. The motive was to protect Tony Blair and his actions concerning Iraq. There is a lot we don't know about secret societies and about protecting the higher order. One day one of their kind will spill the beans.

He, like Diana, told others of the concerns he had, and also like Diana, foresaw the circumstances of his death.

Now, if 'they' can do this to such high profile people, what chance do the rest of us have??

I believe he was murdered. Oh no, I forgot. It doesn't happen here. We're British - and that really wouldn't be 'cricket', would it?!

I am surprised that Al Fayed Sr hasn't been bumped off before now. Death by natural causes of course. Or even suicide because he could not handle the grief. What a loose cannon he is!

With hindsight I suppose the intentions were to protect the institutions at all costs otherwise it could lead to anarchy. Now we have the full facts about WMD and the distortion of the Iraq dossier the picture is more clear. We all make mistakes some are just not repairable. The decent thing was for him to fall on his sword like others have done. Instead he will receive enormous deals on speaking engagements and publishing deals.
