Good news and the bad
2 Answers
Just to let you know that the first kits have been born at the Cotswold wildlife reserve.Staff say they are difficult to spot but they have seen them, so i t looks like the Beavers are doing well.Great news....now for the bad..Two kittens dumped in a rubbish bin have been saved by binmen. They were tied up in a carrier bag, luckily they heard the kittens meowing and pulled them out before going in the crusher. The kittens were no more than a week old with eyes still closed. The kittens named Rosie and Carrie are at a shelter. What a traumatic experience..I just cannot get my head round these sort of acts, it beggers belief that anyone could do such a thing.Just hope the poor little souls make it.g.

Such good news about the beavers - absolutely wonderful.
So sorry to hear about the kittens: Rosie and Carrie. Bless their little hearts and thank god the binmen found them in time. It does beggar belief that someone could do that to wee animals without a thought!!! They obv have no respect for life, no heart, no soul. What goes round, comes round and no doubt one day they will get their come uppance.
Meanwhile, hopefully wee kittens will be doing just fine - got fingers crossed for them - keep us posted - I hope they make it. :o) xxxxx

Hi, garner - what great news about the beavers!
I hope the kittens will be alright. I was at our local sanctuary yesterday and someone phoned up to say that whilst taking her dog for a walk, she came across 2 wee kittens, just dumped, in a cardboard box. The sanctuary refused to take them (they're skint & can't afford to feed what they've already got in) and I was tempted, but I've got my hands full at the moment, with my lot. God only knows what'll happen to the poor little things. How can people be so cruel??? K
