I went to a ladies night a few years ago and it was the most condescending, sexist and weird night of my life!!

888sally888 ....why? im getting worried now, I know someone else that goes to them and she said they were ball gowns/prom dress...not me at all!!!!
God the head man gave a speech and it was all like

'look at our little ladies that have been invited out tonight' etc etc.

They asked my then husband to join and I said no way!!
I had no idea what a freemason was and I have just looked it up. No way I would go to one, I'm very opinionated and they dont seem the kind of people I would be able to stick

Look at our little ladies!!!!! Thats it im not going!!! lol
Make an excuse not to go Lil, if I were you.
Mostly a right bunch of needlesticks....

It may be better now but it wasnt for me. If you are a little simple mouse woman its probably ok.

Or if you can grow mens bits before you go, you will be fine!!

Pmsl! No certainly not a timid mouse, and my man says ive got a mouth like a truck driver lol...if I had to sit there listening to that "look at our little ladies" I would seriously want to get up and walk out lol

hey lil - from that description of yourself, I think you should go. Inject a little life into the proceedings.
Wear pvc corset and thigh high boots.
My first husband was a mason and I went to a ladies night...once and once only.
They were a bunch of pompous mysogynists and their wives were so far up themselves it wasn't true.
None of the wives worked - they were all "ladies who lunch" - and when they discovered I had a career they would have been less horrified if I'd said I was a cannibal.
