KM Links Game - April week 3

Good morning everyone - here we are already at the third week of April - goodness, doesn't time fly !!

So far the new format seems to be meeting with most people's approval and it's very nice to welcome back some old faces

The idea is still to find the matching links with this morning's shaded words, which by the way are -

but there's no need to rush in with the first thing that comes into your head, instead take time to reflect, consider, whatever and then put in the first thing that came into your head !!!

As usual, no limit on word lengths, the contest stays open till midnight Sunday and then I come along with the all-new scoring system and hopefully distribute lots and lots of points.

Steff,
I was away for a couple of weeks in the Pelopponese on a botanising holiday. We had great weather (so a good start on the tan whilst walking) and superb wild flowers. There were two problems though ; now that the pound is almost on a par with the euro Greece was not as cheap as it used to be (although petrol was slightly cheaper !) ; and the second was that my travelling companion went home much earlier than expected because he was lovesick (really !). He was due to come back but in the meantime fell ill and I ended up with 8 days on my own ! Nonetheless I had a good time (thanks for asking).
