Welcome to this fourth (and penultimate) week in the reign of Pope Adrian the Benevolent. It didn't take long for the regulars to tune into the thought processes of our latest setter. Even those of little faith in their own ability are reaping rewards. These include kay, grannydi & joanna, who between them picked up a bucketful of points! I am looking forward to a repeat performance this coming weekend!
Several newcomers are well-placed for the closing stages of this contest and it won't be long before we hear the bell for the last lap. How will frontrunners tearinghair, centrino & grannydi stand the pace necessary to become an MM Links Champion? Why don't you log on to see how this contest develops? The MM Links Posting should open tomorrow at 8.45am and the four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am.
As usual there will be an international version of this same game, which will be played in parallel and is called KM Links. This game kicks off at an earlier hour has for several years now been organised all the way from Oz by our very own seekeerz aka Steff ~ the Hostess with the Mostest! Even seekeerz raked in three points last week (although she added "Fat chance" at the end of her predictions). Oh Ye of little faith!
As always, you are invited to chance your arm at both Link Games? They remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards.
Until we meet up tomorrow, may I wish you "Happy Linking"!
evening Pauline, and X ray just finished the red wine!
hope more join us must open another bottle
going to chesterfield tomorrow so need to be up and on
Well, here was me thinking I could have my usual giggle before I hit the sheets and find that everybody is asleep already!
TWO honorable mentions for me, I'll have to watch out or I will be getting bigheaded. And you know what they say - pride goes before a fall, so I bet I get nothing this weekend!
Night all.
I doubt it x-ray, but any case I shall be sailing the high seas to St Petersburg, so will be otherwise occupied. I'm not sure of the time change to Russia, but I think that the Hermitage will have first priority, especially as it costs a small fortune to get in!
