regarding deed poll

My ex wife has changed my kids names by deed poll without my consent, she has the documents to prove it, but none of the terms that allow her to do this apply to her - I have parental responsibility, see them regularly, even though they live the other end of the country, and pay maintenence through the court. She must have forged a letter from me giving my consent (to change their names to a new boyfriends name by the way) or lied blatantly. What can I do without involving a solicitor i cant afford?? help!!!!
