Extraneous noise - musak, ipods, MP3s - can't see the point of people living their lives with earphones - whatever happened to listening to the world around you?
Football (but I need rugby)
nasty unsociable dogs kept by people who think it adds to their street cred
tattoos
earrings on children under 10

when i was a student, i was brassic, and for some reason loads of things packed up at once...the boiler, the freezer, and the cooker, and one of the taps just began pouring so i had to turn it off at the mains and had to flush the toilet with a bucket
i had plug in heaters anyway, no gas, but had no hot water, so boiled kettles etc, cooked on a liitle camping stove until i got a mini cooker and borrowed a mini fridge
i lived like that for a good while - probably almost a year- and actually realised i didnt really mind...just got used to it, i of course wanted it all dealt with but time an money where a problem so it took a while...
been camping a lot, festivals, stayed in caravans a lot so sort of used to it.
i am then sort that loses my temper when my hardship or trouble are caused by negligence or mistreatment by someone else...these where just 'one of those things' and i just got on with it...
a tap has just gone again actually which i fixed after about 2 weeks
