Does he like me?
3 Answers
Ok, So this guy right claims he likes me. I told him I liked him too. We text (flirting) for a few days non stop. He lives way down England, Im in Scotland, but we used to go to school together. He came home this weekend...and hasnt text me since. Heard nothing. Usually I text him first but I feel like Im always making effort and thought i'd give him space and let him come to me. However I havent heard anything (in the last 2 days). Now on facebook there has been a few status's about him pulling a girl etc, but I cant say anything as we are not dating. But in his texts he'd tell me that I give him a funny feeling in his belly and Im gorgeous and he likes me just the way I am etc etc. So its clear in text anyways that he is interested. i dont want to come across as needy, I want him to have all the space he needs as I really like the guy but I dont know how to go about making this guy stay interested. It seems like he's totally lost interest in me. I ask...How do you keep a guys interest? If this turns out to be nothing, then fair one, but for future refrences how can I bag a guy and keep him?
Note: I dont text them often, I gve them space, Im not an ugly lass if im honest (but im not like vain or beautiful or anything - average).
what am i doing wrong?

Texting might be a cheap and convenient way of sending routine messages between people but it's a utterly pathetic way of trying to understand someone's feeling. (It's so easy to read something into a text which was never intended by the person who sent it, simply because you can't hear the intonation in their voice).
Do NOT text him! PHONE him and have a real CONVERSATION with him! You'll be able to find out where you stand with him far more easily in a short phone call than you ever could in a thousand texts!

haha Chris...welcome to the new generation ;) I totally get what you mean. Perhaps his texts have been misinterpreted as feelings instead of what they really are fun. It could be that Ive over looked as you said. I guess actions speak louder than words and if he did like me? I wouldnt be waiting on edge for the past two days...I know when I like someone I usually cant go a day without thinking of them & want to speak to them. Maybe he hasnt text as he's genuinely not interested. Thanks for your help x
