Choosing the One Right Religion
102 Answers
“HOW am I to know which is the right religion? There are hundreds of different religions and each one claims to be the right one. I don’t have time to study every religion in order to choose the right one. It would be like trying to find a needle in a haystack!”

Just what does this mean? That all the wisdom of men is foolishness in God’s sight? Often the application of man’s wisdom heals the sick or saves the dying. It makes machines that carry men along the ground or over the sea or through the air. It makes possible comfortable homes with many conveniences. By it men can transmit voices and music and even moving pictures over thousands of miles. When properly used the marvelous ingenuity of man is not foolishness with God. How could it be, when it was God who gave the attribute of wisdom to man? How could it be, when Jesus said that “the sons of this system of things are wiser in a practical way toward their own generation than the sons of the light are”? Nor can we say without limitation that men view all God’s wisdom as foolish. They marvel at the divine wisdom reflected in starry heavens, the green earth, the fascinating animal life and their own bodies so “fearfully and wonderfully made.” What, then, is the human wisdom that God calls foolish and the godly wisdom that many men class as foolishness (Luke 16:8; Ps. 139:14)

I've been doing a bit of research into the right religion, and have found one which sounds quite promising.
It starts with three wise men from Persia who come to visit a baby savior-god and bring him gifts of gold, myrrh and frankincense.
This baby was born on December 25.
Before the baby eventually died on a cross, he celebrated a last supper with his twelve disciples.
After his death, his body was laid to rest in a rock tomb.
He had a celibate priesthood.
He ascended into heaven during the spring equinox.
Sounds like a winner!

Mark - not bad ...
we'd like something that really appeals to the Baby Boomer demographic.
Could we work in another element?
Maybe; strict parents, rebellious youth, consumerism, sex/drugs/rock'n'roll kinda thing then revelation, cross stuff etc etc
Could still work with your outline.
Thought of a name yet?

<<Mithra was around long before Christianity, so Mark isn't inventing a new religion>>
Listen this is a NEW religion ok! It damn well better be - we'll be spending a fortune on Branding and registering trademarks. Anyone who says different will have their ass sued off - or burned at the stake. Whichever is most cost effective - legal boys still working on that.
Stop with the Mithra stuff. 83% of the mid-west target audience found it difficult to pronounce and 37% thought it was something to do with Lord of the Rings.

Voodoo ...
"Voodoo belief recognizes one Supreme Being who created the universe, but who is too far away for a personal relationship with its worshippers. Therefore, the cult followers serve the loa or lesser deities to gain guidance for their lives. The loa are the spirits of ancestors, animals, natural forces, and the spirits of good and evil."
That sounds so much more plausible than Christianity.
