Genuine question!

I'm chatting to a woman on a dating site who has just dropped that bombshell!

I find her attractive and she says that there is no genuine/heartfelt connection (or physical contact) with the callers, but I'm not sure that I'd like to date someone that did that job.

She says it wont be her job forever, but I've read so many things about this sort of thing morphing into something seedier, that I'm at a loss what to do!

Please help - without criticising me or slagging me off!

didn't know these still existed since the internet ...
I take it no one can come up with any cons? Why is it such a bad idea to date (or in sqads case- marry) a woman who does this for a living?
How do I get this job? I've got a husky voice.
Cons i can think of;
mainly being jealous
possibly being embarrassed to tell others what your partner does for a living
I don't see any problem, unless she brought her work home with her.
Thanks prudie, so it would seem it's more of a psychological problem of a childish future boyfriend than any real problem?
Phone you later sibo lol.
BOO, my love.......I have already explained that i would date her.

Now my wife to be.....educated,a certain desire to "keep a good home" neatly dressed, a good taste in fashion, eager to succeed in her chosen profession or trade and what i would judge, a good example to my children.

Now i am not saying that a "sex chat girl" would not have these characteristics, but i would not be prepared to take the chance of marrying her.

It's certainly a mindset thing. Been trying to remember all day a chick flick where the girl did that to help pay the bills. I always imagine they've got one hand on the ironing while the other's on the phone.
Oh Tony, I was hoping for Sqad :-)
Doh.
I don't see the problem. I spent 10 years telling my parents i was a piano player in a bordello house rather than fessing up that I was a lawyer........
Well quite BM - I spent years avoiding telling people that I wrote the computer programs that sent out Gas Bills - male gigolo had a much better ring to it :)
if she was an actor and got a role which involved a few sex scenes - where she actually had to kiss and fondle and basically look as though its real sex - would you have an issue with that?

i would view it as her being an actor, doing a voice-over, she is playing a role for money - and as someone else said, she most certainly wont be enjoying it, she will probably be sitting in her jamas, eating cake, no makeup, watching the tv etc, and she also certainly wont be tempted to meet any of the guys as they will sound revolting.

oh and where exactly have you read "so many things about this sort of thing morphing into something seedier" ? ...
or is that really just in your own mind? because i haven't heard of that being a 'thing'
Wouldn't date a woman
It's only words SG...
why not?

though I would put a condom over the phone, just in case for oral protection.
Judge a woman by the content of her character not by the job she have to do to keep her head above water!
Another question you might want to ask yourself SurreyGuy is would a woman who works on a telephone sex line date you if she knew you had posted this question? xx
Did anyone see that episode on Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, where the character was running a sexline from her kitchen? It was anything but sexy! I wouldn't be too bothered, it's a job.
