Is there a condition where people do to others what has been done to them? e.g a boy who is violent to other people because his dad was violent to him? If so, what's the name of this condition?

I think you should be given credit for that, Society - As far as I am aware, there is no formal name for the situation where, as an example, an abused child grows up to become an abuser themselves..

It's not quite as suggested is it. The boy in the example isn't being violent back to the father but passing on their hurt to another. Makes me so mad I think I'll go kick the cat. Don't know if there is a word for it though.

Evening All

I don't know the condition, diagnosis etc or even if there is one. But I stand firm on an "eye for an eye". A good friend of my partners and I was killed this Saturday just gone by a 16 year old, post mortem revealed head trauma. Now this 16 year old has been done for manslaughter, he will be out free to walk in no time at all whereas our friend who was 40 year old and would not instigate trouble got killed as he walked from one pub to another, because he didn't have a cigarette to give the youth.

WHERE THE HELL IS JUSTICE??!!
