Auld Lang Syne

How does the above song affect you? My Scottish husband died four years ago and when I hear Auld Lang Syne it makes me feel very sad.Always make sure I am fast asleep at midnight but some times hearing it is unavoidable. Happy New Year to you all.

It makes me well up too. Hogmanay can be a very emotional time of year for many, all that looking back on the past year stuff can be very hard if you have lost someone close.

My eyes are filling up just reading the title of your post!
I find it hard choking tears back every 31st thinking of all my family and a few friends that have passed. It chokes right up!
