Could it be that the main reason Asian men wish to keep their womenfolk behind closed doors and unable to associate within society, is that they are afraid the women will let it be known that sexual abuse and paedophilia is a way of their life, as was shown by the recent Rotherham cases?

I don't think so, but it's my personal view. Whilst these cases are high profile and we are appalled by them, I don't believe it's representative of all Asian men, so I don't think you can make such a wide generalisation.

The numbers of Asian men involved in these cases, which are all over the country, shows this child abuse is a big problem in the Asian community.

Also the suppression of women by Asian men is something we should not tolerate in our society, we got rid of years ago.

In fact I have said a number of times in this forum that allowing so many Asians into this country is one of the worst decisions we have ever made as a country.

It is only when you live nears areas that have been ruined by Asians (I live on the outskirts of Birmingham near the ruined area of Sparkhill and Small Heath) that you realised what a terrible decision it was to allow so many Asians in.

I am sick to death of hearing about Asian criminal cases, Asian terrorists, Asian drug dealers, Asian child abuse and so on.

It would be wonderful if we could find some way of kicking them all out, and get rid of their polluted lifestyles, then we could try to rescue this country.

I understand what you are saying, VHG, but there is a fair chunk of crime being committed by white men and women as well, both in the indigenous population and the Eastern European incomers. Removing the Asian population because of the acts of some of them seems a swingeing proposal, doesn't it?

My friends run the corner shop. They often go on girly holidays. Spain seems to be the favourite destination.

I know lots of vibrant independent Asian women who have professions, go holidaying with other women and would laugh if you called them suppressed. You can't tar all Asian men with the same brush just as you can't describe ALL Asian women as doormats.

To be more 'asian' specific, Indian & pakistanis have far reaching kin folk in their homelands, where retribution for misdemeanors here are fought out in their root turf. Asian families here are reared to respect this or suffer.

Boxy...people are using this latest abuse scandal as an excuse to bring forth racist views, yet again. I said on here yesterday, that Savile, Smith, Glitter, Hall, Harris, etc all committed horrendous acts against children but were conspicuous by their entirely white, Anglo-Saxon faces. Savile even had white hair !

White men are continually being found guilty of child abuse in Britain today. The Kincora scandal in NI, and the North Wales Children's Homes are just two of many...again marked by a complete lack of brown or black faces. But nobody talks about a conspiracy amongst white men. The horrible men in Rotherham that were guilty of these crimes shared another characteristic...they were all Taxi drivers.

No, they’re not. As I said elsewhere yesterday, you very clearly have no comprehension of the culture you’re defending. The fact is that all the people here who say they know Asian women who aren't subjugated don’t know the Asian women who are. They’re the ones who are kept under wraps. And do please stop comparing this to Savile et al. It bears no similarity whatsoever.

All religions dominated by a male deity were established by men in order to control women. Men wanted to be as sure as they could be that their children were not cuckoos in their nests, sothey set up systems to control women's sexuality. Christianity does this by shame and guilt, and by veneration of virginity; Hinduism does it by harems, and by the caste system which forces women into inferiority; Islam does it by enforcing "modesty" and "honour". Strict Judaism does it by extreme segregation.
I have to believe that Asian-origin women were kept in the dark about the way so many of their menfolk were behaving in such a depraved fashion. Nothing to do with religion as such - all to do with depravity running utterly out of control.

What I dislike most about these closet-racists posts is the assertion that all Muslim treat their women with contempt. That is clearly not the case. Boxy and C+J have made that point here. The racism doesn't come with the assertion that the rapists were Muslim and from the Pakistani population...its racist to suggest that all or even most men from that community are "all the same"

My comments regarding white men abusing children in Britain is entirely relevant. It would be daft of me to suggest that all white Anglo-Saxon men are abusing children all the time, just as it is equally daft to suggest that all Muslim men are doing the same. There is a racial element to the Rotherham affair, as was spelt out quite clearly by the results of the Inquiry yesterday. It seems that these men were allowed to get away with their crimes for so long because the authorities didn't want to upset the racial apple cart. If that is true, and it would appear to be true, then its not acceptable in any way. But all the people in authority who didn't act were wrong and they should be recognise that fact. One Council Leader falling on his sword is good enough at all.

I listened to John Humphrys interview a 24 year old women, who was abused as a 13 year old in Rotherham. The interview gave some amazing details. She said that she told her mother when she was first gang-raped and her Mum immediately dialled 999. The girl and her Mum handed over the clothing that she was wearing when she was raped, but the Police "lost it" apparently. They also told the Mum and the girl that there wasn't any point in carrying on with the investigation as "it was her word against the men"

Are those Policemen still serving ? What has happened to them ? Are not being investigated for gross misconduct ?

This Enquiry poses more questions than it answers it seem to me.

Mikey, No one has suggested that all Asian men abuse children, but this is not a closet racist post. You fail to comprehend that the gangs of Muslim abusers don't abuse the girls for the same reasons that Savile & Co abused girls.
