She doesn't have to be happy if her son turns out to be gay - but to say that she isn't willing to accept it sounds like she will no longer love him.

Subjective I guess; I suppose there's thd stereotypical make fantasy of two women together - I suspect less men would be too happy if their Mrs agreed to a threesome but with another fella rather than a lady. Not sure that's quite the same thing though really.

I also suspect that those who are particularly vehement against gay men have the actvof anal sex in the back of their outraged heads,; conveniently forgetting that this is 1) not an act indulged in by gay men only and 2)some gay men don't particularly like it. Obviously lesbians can't physically penetrate each other with their genitals at least so perhaps this difference goes some way to explaining why someone may not be as outraged by lesbians as they are gay men.

These are just very personal thoughts and i rather agree, in main with the post of CD.

I would find it very difficult to accept the fact that any of my sons's were gay and yes, it would affect for feelings towards them in an adverse way.
So......I am shallow.

The thought of two men making love (in whatever way) is nauseating to me, but watching two women making love is exciting and exhilarating.
Although preferring neither, I would rather have to deal with a lesbian daughter than a gay son.
