//You are unfair to Christianity, Mibs. A religion which preaches love is superior which preaches hate. Do you agree!//
All gods share one attribute that renders them mutually potentially catastrophic to the development of a rational world view in that they all proceed from an imagination subjugated to belief. Having been raised in a predominately Christian environment I've learned early on it's best to steer clear of harm's way and avoid confrontation in as much as remains possible, that 'Christian love' is more readily shared between those who entertain the same allusion, that love is the reward doled out by a vengeful god in exchange for blind obedience and subservience of mind and body to his arbitrary will.
Throughout history the response to any gods who have been found wanting has almost invariably been to up the stakes and tighten the noose rather than dispense with the notion of gods entirely in an attempt to bury one scrap heap beneath yet another. Just when it was beginning to appear humanity might yet survive Christianity along comes another lesson to be learned about why belief in a god of any kind might never have been a really good idea.
