Few people have ever had to cope with all the problems Job had. Within a short space of time, he was devastated by the loss of his wealth and livelihood, the tragic death of all his children, and finally a very painful disease. Ostracized by friends and relatives, he was urged by his wife to “curse God and die!”—Jo

But book opens by telling us about Job’s was a blameless and righteous man, and his family and his enjoying of great material prosperity.
Then we are given a view of heaven, where Satan appears among loyal sons of God in Jehovah’s presence. God calls Satan’s attention to Job’s upright course, implying that the issue had been raised before. In effect, Jehovah said to Satan: ‘So you claim that there is no man on earth that fears me and practices righteousness?
Satan replies: ‘Oh, yes? Sure he serves you. But look how prosperous you made him—7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, and so forth! Take away everything he has and you’ll see how he really feels about you!’ Accepting the challenge, Jehovah allows Satan to rob Job of all his possessions, including his children. .—Job, 1, 2.
What about your life? You may not think that it really matters how you live. But it does. Whether you know it or not, you supports either God’s side of the issue or Satan’s side. this is the Devil-ruled world would make it seem normal and right for you.(1John 5:19)
