What does it mean? What's the plan? Rod Liddle has one, he says;
" There are hundreds of people identified by the security services as being ‘of special interest’ because of their patent and frequently expressed wish to kill us all. Deport all of them who were not born in Britain — kick them out. The lot. Those who are British citizens should be kept under the equivalent of house arrest and jailed if they transgress the terms of that house arrest.

Of the other 20,000 who are ‘of interest’ to the security services, deport all those who are not British-born. Do not let people who have been fighting for Isis in Syria and Iraq back into the UK. Close down Islamic schools. If Muslims want to send their kids to Islamic schools, let them do so in Bangladesh or Qatar, not here. We are not yet an Islamic country.

And start investigating the mosques with a bit more rigour. How about that? "

Well, how about that?

Deport them to where?
To wherever they came from.
Presumably back to their place of origin.

Massive task which is unlikely to work IMO.
And deporting those who are not British born will solve the problem will it? How many of the perpetrators of recent attacks were not British born?
Investigate the mosques to what ends? Radicalisation is done in private on peoples' PCs, not in public at a mosque.
The Manchester bomber was actually reported by his local mosque when they spotted his extremist behaviour.
The mosques are a source of true uncorupted Islam, not some bastardised fanatical version that people will find if left to their own devices.
I think at least one of the London Bridge attackers was not a British national, but that aside, there is a suggestion in the OP for dealing with British nationals too, so whilst none of it will solve the problem completely, it would go a long way to keeping our streets safer than they are at present.

Codswallop!
Almost all of our terrorist attacks have been committed by British citizens, so how would deporting people make us any safer ?

It's already been discussed, at length, on here about the practicalities of keeping watch over thousands of potential terrorists and where to jail them. I'm on record as saying a firmer line needs to be taken and even subscribed to Tora's radical 'it them on a remote island' idea so, please, no liberal leftie labelling.

Not that you will listen (you obviously didn't last time) he was not reported by anyone from the mosque

Zacs.....................Master of do nothing.
23,000?!! jeez, that's a heckuva lot and I don't think the security people have enough bods to track them all.
I'm with the rounding up and stick them on an island group of folk
I’ll say again that where radical Islamists are born is irrelevant – to them. However, to us it’s not. If we can get rid of them – or confine them- we should. I really don't understand the arguments against that. Why would anyone want any of them to remain free to roam in our society?
albaqwerty....this is a serious question...which Island ?

Would the Manx people put up with having a concentration camp on their island again ? Its got a population of about 84,000, so an additional 23,000 would clearly swamp them.
Rockall Mikey :-D
Rockall.........just what I was thinking of in the way of a reply !
