What are your views on the predominance of black crimes of violence especially in the capital?
To even notice it runs the risk of a racist label but can we ignore the facts?

It is so obvious that mass immigration, and the alien cultures it brings with it is a major factor of the crime wave.
Then of course, political correctness prevents stopping and searching those whose profile would suggest their being more likely to be carrying weapons, that is, young black men.
Our politicians are afraid, as we all are, of being labelled racist.
So the black criminals become bullet proof. Pun intended.

Yes, young black and Asian men carry knives and not all of them are from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Young white men carry knives too, as do young Hispanic men and young men from other ethnic backgrounds. It's a self-perpetuating problem, though I do agree that the problem is exacerbated in the extreme by immigration.

The Police need unconditional, unrestricted powers of stop and search. We need more Police - armed Police - in crime hotspots. And an absolute minimum of 10 years in custody if found to be in possession of a deadly weapon, with life behind bars for anyone using a weapon to cause injury or death.

It's about time the Government, the law, the Police got tough.

Crimes against children in various parts of the country were ignored because of fear of the racist label. I've said for a long time that if we want equality, we start by repealing the Race Relations Act, which is biased in favour of minorities.

get tough on all gangs, and 10 years for carrying a knife and if you kill someone with one a mandatory 30 year jail time.

I agree with emmie and NM. Murder should carry a whole life prison sentence, no if's and's or but's.

Specific problems like knife crime and acid attacks in Britain's capital city (and elsewhere) are the result not of immigration policy, but of easy access to knives and corrosive substances.

As far as I can see Sadiq Khan, with the support of Cressida Dick, is taking effective steps to deal with this problem. Quite literally in one instance: you put the full strength Domestos on the top shelf so fourteen year old kids can't get to it .

The re-introduction of "stop and search" (and three cheers for that) by the Met has led in the last month to the confiscation of three nail clippers, one phillips screw-driver and an otherwise environmentally-friendly weed killer.

that is not entirely true
it has done a lot more good for a lot more people
but we only ever read about the extreme cases where a perpetrator (or their unscrupulous lawyer) has used it for their advantage but then if procedures were followed correctly in the first place they would get their comeuppance

ALL violent crime needs to be dealt with stringently whether you are white , black, yellow, green with purple dots ! I agree entirely with stop and search if police have good reason or suspicion... the predominance of black youths in some cities would make the issue seem more inclined that way racially..but 'tis not the case.. it is purely statistical, more black youths than white or green..then chances are it will appear to be a problem of a racial disposition..if you see what I mean..

I am sure that if 'stop and search' was still being used some of the young people who have been stabbed in the recent wave of attacks would still be alive. As I pointed out earlier,all those stabbing victims whose picture has been shown on TV were Black and all those accused whose pictures were shown were black. TV is not allowed to state the ethnicity of the accused or the victims but they can show photos of them!
Work out why?

Alien cultures?? I think all those families that went to America, Australia, South Africa etc etc etc should be forced to come back to the UK (no matter when the family left or how many generations ago) so that the appalling abuses of power and the sublimation of the local peoples culture by the british can be rectified. Good grief...surely, as someone who claims to be a christian, you would be looking at how to help those that commit crime of any ethnic background rather than persecute them all. Of course some people who have migrated to the UK and who commit crimes do not have dark skins. Oh and try to avoid the Mail....
