There is not doubt Tommy is a political prisoner.
The support he is getting cant be ignored.
Now it is protests, next it will be violence.
People have reached breaking point.
Do you agree?
he is where he rightly deserves to be... he knowingly acted ..he got what he deserved.he is in NO way a hero etc.. he is a loud mouthed self serving ..etc etc..
The reason Robinson was reporting outside the court was that gang rape has been allowed to flourish largely unprosecuted and unreported for decades.
On the rare occasions that rapists are charged and convicted the fourth estate seems strangely incurious. Andrew Norfolk mentioned of the many trials he attended (when at least the appearance of justice was being served) that he was the only reporter in the press area.
This silence is extraordinary given the nature and the scale of the crimes. Or do you not think so?
Compare this "judicious" (ho, ho -. it's the way I tell 'em) silence with the ceaseless coverage of Operation Yew Tree and its spin-offs. Front pages and TV coverage non-stop of geriatric celebrities on their zimmer frames being helped into and out of court for groping a fifteen year old girl in 1965.
Not a lot of injunction-ing/D-Notice-ing or "prejudicial to a fair trial" cant then, was there?
