... is taking over this site. After years of copious quotes from Hitler's favourite English newspaper, we are now getting quotes from the far more odious Breibart website, a website which makes Attila the Hun look Liberal.
And they have the gall to suggest Islam is taking over - I haven't seen many quotes from Muslim sites here.

The principle of protecting freedom of speech isn't violated by saying that maybe sites that promote holocaust denial or extreme fascist propaganda shouldn't be widely publicised. "I don't agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it," doesn't also go on to add "and what's more I'll provide as many opportunities for you to say it as possible, and even publish it to ensure the widest possible access," and so on and so forth.
Conflating that with the Nazi book-burning practices is shameful.

Consider.
"For decades – since the 1960s, in fact – the media and political establishment have held a consensus over what’s acceptable and unacceptable to discuss in polite society. The politics of identity, when it comes from women, LGBT people, blacks and other non-white, non-straight, non-male demographics is seen as acceptable — even when it descends into outright hatred.
Any discussion of white identity, or white interests, is seen as a heretical offence."

Holocaust denial, wherever it occurs, should be challenged, rejected, and just utterly shamed for the crap that it is. I am not sure that your "where it's most prolific" argument is, therefore, anything other than yet another transparent attempt to bring this thread back to your favourite bugbear, when -- once again -- that wasn't actually the subject under discussion in the OP.
spathiphyllum
How about a vote, on what sources are and aren't acceptable? Or should we simply allow some jumped up fascist decide what we can and can't use?
Interesting post considering who on the thread is saying what sites shouldn't be used.
I haven't seen the storm front post but I assume it was removed... by the obviously fascist Ed?

Jim, //Holocaust denial, wherever it occurs, should be challenged, rejected, and just utterly shamed for the crap that it is.//
Absolutely right. I couldn’t agree more.
//I am not sure that your "where it's most prolific" argument is//
I’m sure you are. How hypocritical to condemn one whilst ignoring something greater.
//yet another transparent attempt to bring this thread back to your favourite bugbear, when -- once again -- that wasn't actually the subject under discussion in the OP.//
Oh right. Let’s hide behind Naomi's perceived bugbear and dismiss the bit in the OP that mentions Islam. We’ll just concentrate on those naughty people who have the gall to expose it for what it is. The point is Canary is condemning that which he is defending – but he doesn’t know it and neither do you.
